Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Instant CFO LLC, doing business as instantCFO (“instantCFO,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit getinstantcfo.com, complete our Fit Check, book a call, or work with us.
Information you give us
When you complete the Fit Check, book a discovery call, or contact us, you may provide:
Your name, email address, and mobile phone number
Your agency’s name
Answers about your agency, such as revenue range, the company your agency works with, and the financial challenges you’re facing
Anything else you choose to share with us by email, text, or on a call
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website or scheduling pages, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including pages viewed, the website that referred you, campaign details in the link you clicked (such as UTM parameters and ad click identifiers), approximate location, device and browser type, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this using cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies.
How we use information
To respond to your inquiry, determine whether we’re a good fit, and schedule and hold calls
To send appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow up about your inquiry
To send occasional updates and resources, if you’ve agreed to receive them
To provide services to clients under a separate written agreement
To understand how visitors find and use our website, and to measure and improve our marketing, including through advertising on other sites and platforms
To keep a record of prospective clients for future outreach as our services expand
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
Text messages
If you check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive text messages from instantCFO about your inquiry and appointments, plus occasional updates and resources, which may include marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
Service providers who help us run our business, such as our CRM and scheduling platform (GoHighLevel/LeadConnector), video meetings (Zoom), email (Microsoft 365), website hosting (Framer), and analytics and advertising providers (such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn)
Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights
A successor if our business is sold, merged, or reorganized
Some advertising cookies and pixels let those providers show you our ads on other websites. Under some state laws this counts as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out through our cookie preferences, by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by contacting us.
Cookies and your choices
You can manage cookies through our cookie preferences, where available, and through your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits to any website, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no agreed standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them.
Client information
If you become a client, the financial records and system access you provide (for example, to your accounting software) are used only to deliver our services and are handled under the terms of your engagement agreement.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining a record of prospective clients, unless you ask us to delete it or the law requires otherwise. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email phil@getinstantcfo.com or write to us at the mailing address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you, with your written permission.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing phil@getinstantcfo.com with “Appeal” in the subject line. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
Our website and services are intended for business owners and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
